our COMMUNITY is responsible to have EYES on our children

North Idaho CASA provides advocacy services to child abuse victims in the 1st Judicial District, including the 5 counties of Benewah, Bonner, Boundary, Kootenai, and Shoshone. In 2026, we launched a public service campaign raising awareness to the importance of reporting child neglect. Since 2020, there has been a decline in the number of child abuse and neglect cases assigned a CASA. With the population in our region increasing, we know that children are suffering in silence and are depending on the community to alert authorities when there is even a slight suspicion of maltreatment.
